spring rush 2016

I had a few friends in DG and APhi who told me they both weren't doing Spring Rush. Granted, those were the two sororities I did want to rush anyways. But then, a few weeks into the spring semester, i find out the DG ended up doing spring recruitment with a few girls. How do they go about doing that? Do they invite people or do the girls come and ask to go through the process?

My sorority also wasn't doing spring recruitment but at the last minute we decided to take some girls that we liked. It was more of a COB process which is probably what they did
