why do fraternities even want ville houses?

Literally do nothing but take away numbers for off campus houses. Just a general question. Why do fraternities want them?

All the good ones don't have Ville houses because the school kicked them out

Ville houses have some purpose, it's a good central base that is on campus and is guaranteed housing.

That being said, they definitely are just Greek Life dorms with RAs and not something that's really special.

A ville house is nice to have but at the end of the day all that matters is the party houses. No party house = no parties. Party house > ville house. Still though having one is good because it gives you a basic meeting place for everyone

If you're on campus and you don't have a ville house you're not relevant as a rule of thumb (holds true) and if you're off campus your going to be irrelevant very soon (other than sig chi)

If having a ville house is all that matters then i guess that makes Sig Ep and Beta more relevant than Pike (when they were on campus), ADP and FIJI.

I love living in the vill. It sucks not being able to have parties there but it's awesome living with 15 of your best friends.

Living in the ville is sick as a sophomore but after that nothing beats going off campus
