self ranking?

Why does everyone always accuse all these frats/sororitys of self ranking? I've noticed aepi and zbt get this a lot along with axo, dg, and piphi.
Everyone has different opinions on their favorite sororities and fraternities. Don't be so bitter about people actually liking a group you might not see as the best. It's just getting to the point of being annoying now.

So here's the thing. People from other organizations are VERY rarely going to be moved to take the time and effort to post about how amazing a different sorority/frat is online. That's silly. If you see good things in a different organization, you tell them, or it shows through your relationships. And thats the end of it, you don't need to post anonymously on a website about it.
That leaves haters, who use this an anonymous tool to be bitter and sound off, and then self rankers who feel the need to validate their brotherhood or sisterhood by defending it in the third person. Self ranking is rampant, and there is more than enough basis for those accusations.
