pledging as 21yo

It won't be much different. Only three big things that I can think of:

1. There's a chance your pledge educators will be younger than you. Make sure you're ok with being yelled at and told what to do by guys younger than you.

2. Your underage pledge brothers will definitely ask you to go on booze runs for them.

3. Some girls may be creeped out by a 21 year old pledge.

Well damn....

There's no real age that's too old to be a pledge it more depends on your school year. I know a couple guys who were in the military right out of high school and started college when they were 21. They pledged right away and since they were technically Freshmen then they had no problem and still got 4 great years out of it. The only excuse to be pledging as anyone whos a junior or higher would be if youre a transfer student. If you're a 21 year old junior or senior who has been at uconn the whole time then you might have a hard time getting a bid.
