why did DG get kicked off in the first place? I've heard rumors but i'm not totally sure what actually happened. and why only for a year?

Hazing

DZ and DG were found guilty hazing some Sig Chi pledges at a little brother/big sister night. DG self-reported and therefore received a lighter sentence (only a 1 year suspension and their charter was left intact) than DZ, whose charter was revoked and banned until 2016

They were kicked off for hazing on their big sister night with sig chi, they will have to be VERY careful this coming year because the school will be watching them closely
