spring rush
by: freshmanhey there everyone! i'm a freshman looking to rush in the spring but i'm not sure what frats to rush. I'm looking for a very strong brotherhood and a great social life. I definitely am looking to keep my grades up during pledging so I was just wondering if any frats fit that category?

A few of them fit all three categories but to different degrees.
PIKE and AEPi both have great social lifes and strong brotherhoods. Also both have some strong academics.
Kappa Sig has a good social life and good academics but a lack luster brotherhood as they are very large.
TKE has a decent social life and a strong brotherhood but they are bottom of the barrel for academics.
Just my 2cents but check them all out.

The top tier fraternity's as of now are Pike, Kappa Sig and AEPi.
Pike is viewed as #1 on campus in terms of social life/brotherhood, but have gotten in some trouble with the school as of late, so may not be as active.
AEPi has a good brotherhood and academics, and do get a lot of hot girls at their parties. New pledge class was iffy.
Kappa Sig also does well socially, but have taken heat for a big pledge class they took last fall. Are still very popular among sororities none the less.
If your so worried about grades you can't go wrong with beta...

The strongest brotherhoods are by far AEPi and TKE.
AEPi PIKE Kappa sig and TKE are socially the best fraternities but pike and aepi have the upper hand over kappa sig and tke.
As long as your smart and halfway responsible well pledging, you will come out with decent grades.
