spring recruitment

I'm transferring in this spring to UCONN and I'm wondering if I should bother with spring recruitment or just rush in the fall? How does spring recruitment even work?

First are you rushing a fraternity or a sorority? I'm guessing a sorority since you are calling it recruitment and not rush

And from my knowledge spring recruitment for sororities is very small and informal and is basically girls who are already friends with a bunch of the sisters.

Recruitment is in the spring and fall. Spring is much smaller and not all chapters participate
