No. Last year, each house accepted at least one junior in their new pledge class, so you'll be fine as a sophomore.

i rushed as a sophomore and got both houses I wanted for preference round and got my #1 choice, you have the same chance as a freshman! As a junior tho that chance goes down just a bit
