AXO will probably be a power house on this campus in a couple of years(They are good at almost every school) so if you're looking to set yourself up for the future I would go with them even though they are new.

Int terms of the present, I would go with Theta or Alpha Phi, both are great sororities and hot.

GPHI or PiPhi are good too and have some hot girls and they will probably rise with the Top Tier sororities getting in trouble (Dg,DZ and Kappa).

I expect DG and DZ to just be given a suspension and then be back in with the Spring or next year. (I hope, along with every other fraternity guy)

Go out and see every sorority and who you enjoy. I'm personally a big fan of DG and hope they come back but I have friends in every sorority and they are all great in their own ways. Just have to find who you click most with and if you don't find any you really want to join then at least you'll know going greek wasn't for you instead of wondering and regretting.

If you could I'd do Alpha Phi or Theta. Both are well established and well ranked, and also on the rise.

For future rushees I'd say go AXO because they'll definitely be up high as they make their mark.

Gamma Phi isn't bad but they're known to be really unpanhellenic. I do however know a few really nice ones so just judge for yourself.

i have a feeling gphi wont raise to the top but aephi or pi phi definitely will. they both have been here longer and are often overshadowed by other organizations. every sorority is great and has a lot to bring to the table, give everyone a chance.

go alpha phi over theta, theta over aephi, pi phi over g phi

The "best sororities are suspended?" The ones that hazed their members were the best in your opinion? You wanted to be humiliated and have your life put in danger? That's the best? You're not even here yet and you think you know about sororities and reputations? Please tell us your name so we can make sure to drop you first day!

first off the only sorority that has officially been suspended and will not have rush in the fall is KKG. As for rushing this fall i'd advise you to not go alpha phi unless you enjoy spending time with loose airheads. You'll find the place you belong, we all do. I'd advise you don't form opinions of sororities before you meet them.

Alpha Phis are not loose air heads. Their GPA is higher than kappa, dg, dz and piphi's. You're judging the group based on stereotypes that can only be applied to a small fraction of girls... Take the time to meet some more alpha Phis in real life before you go and label 160+ girls based on your experience with only a couple. You can find a "loose airhead" in every sorority no matter their reputation.

If you want advice on who to rush honestly alpha phi and theta are your only options if
You want a really fun social life... I don't think dg and dz are allowed to rush in the fall. That being said my friends in sae and pike both said they would rather have a social with Aphi over dz. So really you're only missing out on dg. Thetas not as well known socially as Aphi but they're making a come up and are getting over their nerdy rep, a lot if pikes like to have socials with them. Aphi and pike will always be obsessed with each other.. Just like kappa and sae were glued together. Aphi rushed #1 fall 13 so they're probably going to get another good pledge class with dg dz and kappa gone.. Basically there is no competition other than theta and there's going to be more girls rushing than ever before so the two of them are going to do really well.
