Why is COB considered a bad thing
by: whyI'm a pnm and I'm just curious as to why sororities are looked down upon for doing COB! In my view, aren't many of them trying to fill spots of girls who graduated in December/ graduated early?

COB is not a bad thing at all!! I can guarantee every sorority has done COB in some capacity, especially this year. It’s all about how many spots nationals wants you to fill. Generally, if they have a lot of spots to fill and are openly advertising it, that usually means that less girls wanted to join originally and they didn’t fill enough spots, which probably means they have a lower rank. COB itself isn’t bad and it’s a good way to avoid having to go through formal recruitment
