The National Clout
by: Mhm
The only fraternities on campus that are huge nationally are:
Tau Kappa Epsilon
Sigma Phi Epsilon
Pi Kappa Phi
Sigma Chi
Phi Delta Theta
The rest are irrelevant nationally. PNM’s, the size of the fraternity at the national level matters a lot when you are trying to seek networking, leadership opportunities, scholarships, academic services and powerful alumni connections.
#2 by: Local chapter matters mor
I’d say like 1 in 100 people get their jobs because of their national fraternity lol. I think it matters more the alumni brothers of the UConn chapter of the fraternity to get future jobs. So fraternities that have been around UConn longer can help with job placement post grad. Aka not phi Delt or pi kapp who’s oldest alumni bros are 24

national alumni matters a lot less in helping than your actual chapters alumni. uconn alumni brothers can be a lot more valuable to you than alumni from chapters halfway across the country that have their own chapters graduates reaching out.
