On campus frats have the advantage of sorority relationships and a bit more social presence, due to the fact that they are on campus and don’t have to worry about being underground. Off campuses still throw down and it’s honestly a similar experience wherever you go, but I’m pretty sure pike and tke are the only ones who get good numbers nowadays, (sig chi technically back on)

Off campus parties usually host parties with lesser pledges (because off campus frats have a really tough time getting pledges) and therefore their parties aren’t as organized and are lower quality. This disorganization creates a nasty domino effect as the parties usually get stopped way earlier (and the house owners usually get ticketed) by cops because there’s lesser drivers and lesser risk management. The cops usually find out about the party way quicker because a lot of Uber’s will get ordered (because of the lesser drivers). And let’s just add in that it’s pretty hard for an off campus frat to come back from ticketed parties, since off campus frats are already low in numbers and frat dues are insanely low and no ones willing to pay for more than what they already pay for off campus frat dues. The downwards spiral of being in an off campus frat is no joke. Some of these things are already happening to on campus frats
