sophmore transfer
by: Nholden1234Hey I go to a private school in Texas where fraternities run the scene. However, finances aren't looking so good so I may have to transfer. My question is it easy for sophmores to rush first semester (idk how rush is at uconn). And also from my research it seems that off campus fraternities were all the good ones that got kicked. Are those fraternities even worth rushing?

It is still definitely worth rushing as a first semester sophomore. I'd say rush is split about 50/50 between freshman and sophomores so you definitely will not be behind rushing as a sophomore. In terms of off campus or on campus, it really depends what you want. There's definitely some really good on campus options, and then there are also some good off campus ones. At this point there's probably only like 2 of the off campus ones that are worth rushing tbh, and then there's like 3 or 4 on campus that are worth it in my opinion that being based strictly off the social aspect. Not really sure what you are looking for in a fraternity though
