rushing a sorority as a sophomore/junior

by: jj

Would it be ridiculous to rush as a sophomore or junior? I know there’s a huge likelihood that sororities drop girls purely because of their age during recruitment, so what’s the liklihood of getting into one, especially not as a transfer?

Not at all. My pledge class had just as many sophomores as freshman, with a few juniors mixed in

Not weird at all. I’d say it’s almost 50/50 freshman and sophomores and a handful of juniors. Age doesn’t matter that much!

not weird at all. I know plenty of girls from my high school who went to other schools and then transferred to UConn and rushed as sophomores/juniors. At first I thought it was weird but they were all popular in high school so I guess no one cares.
