if youre going into recruitment only considering two sororities out of the 8 that are participating in recruitment you can pretty much kiss your bid goodbye

i agree with what the above person said; you should go into recruitment with an open mind, if you only want the top two houses you might be missing out on another house that could really work for you.

that being said, the real difference between theta and alpha phi is the personalities of girls and qualities they rush based on. theta is consistently the top GPA and recruit pretty, well rounded girls. they make very heavy cuts the first two days based off grades. Alpha Phi recruits the hottest, fun party girls, kind of stereotypical sorority types and they don't care much about GPA during rush. both houses have amazing girls, just different.

If you're interested in theta, you'll probably like Gphi too, and if you like alpha phi, you might like AXO as well. every chapter has amazing girls, try to go into it with some more options!

Thetas are insecure and boring. Pretend to be classy. “I don’t usually do this, I’m a theta.”(they usually do whatever follows that statement.)

Never go in dead set on a sorority because you can have fun and make friends in any organization. With that being said, this website may seem like a great place to get “true info” for recruitment, but a lot of it is just really people bashing each other and people trying to bring other houses down. Some people even bash a house while trying to make it look like they are from another specific house to make that house look bad. Overall, go in with an open mind. It sounds corny and unhelpful but i promise theres more to each organization than you can ever find on the internet/social media.
