Why are these the only fraternities throwing parties? SAE has had about 10 absolute ragers at the dime this semester with zero consequences, what's the deal?

They're literally just drinking clubs since they aren't recognized by Uconn.
So they can't get in trouble for the Greek party ban if they're technically not Greek. Just a group of guys who drink together and pretend they still exist.

Don't try to sugarcoat it, the dime is a historical landmark here at UConn and is and always has been the notorious, undisputed party house. Take a look at other houses surrounding this campus then go to the dime for one night and you'll realize nothing else can come close to the carnage that occurs there. Only off campus fraternity that's relevant at this point. Top house.
