by: hmdo you have to be living on campus to go through formal recruitment or is the only req for rushing a sorority (in terms of that type of thing) that you're a full time student?

you don't need to live on campus to go through recruitment! however, there's a difference between living off campus and being a commuter. living near/around UConn won't have a big effect, but being a commuter might make it more difficult to be where you need to be and when, and also to hangout and meet girls in your pledge class. it is definitely doable if you put in the effort
