As a Gamma Zeta alumni this makes me so sad. “Back in my day” Theta was known for being fun, down-to-earth, and diverse- just to name a few. Makes you wonder when the tides changed. A few years ago a Gamma Zeta legacy (a very good friend’s daughter) was dropped by Theya during rush. When my fellow sister told me, she was very disappointed and I have to be honest, I was pissed. I know this is not what the founding ladies had in mind when they established KAO in 1880... so disappointed.

they're a strong chapter. they have many gorgeous girls, top gpa on campus, very popular with top frats and good social life. they sometimes can be uppity though, and have developed a bit of a reputation for taking "wealthy" girls in rush. while this is true for some of their members, the vast majority are not snobby and very down to earth. most thetas ive met have been very friendly, with some exceptions

These girls think they can become top tier just because DG is gone. Doesn't work like that. They didn't even have the highest gpa this year so they really don't have anything going for them.

Everyone knows this but is afraid to say it....you will not get a bid from this sorority unless you come from a rich background and are decently pretty. They're SNOBBY as all hell and obsessed with self image. They're almost robotic as they try to act "perfect." I once watched a new student ask a theta for directions to the bathroom in the library and the girl literally got up, gave him the silent treatment and moved to another table. This sorority is definiely littered with self image/insecurity issues.
