Would be much better if the school didn't hate Greek life. Some off campus houses are fun but the Ville sucks. Parties are always good until Mansfield PD shows up. Hot members though

Housing isn't what you'd expect especially if you want frat mansions; maybe if you were here in the 80's when the houses by south were populated by Greek life. With our school trying to kill us off one org after another, things become quite competitive in every org because of how careful everyone has to be on a high risk campus. That being said, you really only do have fun if you're involved in Greek life here. It's better to hate the system for the flaws and rules than to not be in it at all.

Greek life is pretty bad here compared to most large schools, especially the south, but better than most small schools. On campus housing is awful so frats have to have small private houses off campus. That being said, there's nothing to do at UConn and joining a frat exponentially makes college life here better. It's getting harder and harder to get a bid each year as more frats get kicked off and more kids realize that joining a frat is really the only way to have fun in the middle of nowhere
