could i rush/get into a sorority as a junior?

I'm thinking of transferring in the fall next year and want to rush, since I really regret not joining a sorority at the school I'm at now. I'm currently a sophomore. Can I get into a sorority (preferably DG) if I have tons of recommendations and make a really good impression? Or do they mostly just take freshmen?

You will have slim pickings if you're going to seriously rush as a Junior. Every house wants girls who can be there for as long as possible. Also it would be kind of weird if you were two years older than everyone in your PC.

No one here can tell you which chapter might or might not extend you a bid. But having said that, being a junior definitely makes things more difficult. Don't set your heart on DG or any other top-tier chapter. Be open to the process, and be prepared to roll with the punches. There are a lot of great chapters at CU, and a chapter that is a good fit for you might not necessarily be one of the most "popular."
