sophomore transfer rushing

by:

Hey! I am a sophomore transfer from Texas, I am going through sorority recruitment this fall. Some background- I am transferring because CU has one of the best programs for the major, I am a legacy for a sorority that CU doesn't have a chapter of, I have at least one rec letter for every sorority except for one and I come from a more affluent family. I do not know anyone at CU, so I am coming in blind for recruitment. Since I don't know how the CU sororities work I am a bit concerned that I wont get a chance in rush because I am rushing as a sophomore. Do sororities at CU give bids to sophomores? Realistically, what are my chances.

DG will bid just about anyone so you should be able to get them easily. as far as tri-delt and axo you dont really have a shot at those top houses

Of the top houses: Dg, Aphi, Chi O, and Pi Phi, DG and Pi Phi are more liberal with their bids to sophomores than Aphi and Chi O. That being said they don't hand them out to anybody- you pretty much get automatically dropped if you're a sophomore from Aphi and Chi O but if you have good grades and you're fun and pretty DG may bid you and Pi phi is all about being pretty and fun

DG has a certain number of sophomores that nationals make them take based on ratios. It depends how many other sophomores are going through recruitment
