Biggest pc’s in the nation!
by: biggest in the nationOkay so with pc’s of over 170+ members can we all agree that Boulder could use more than 9 sororities? Just as a point of reference the bigest pc’s in the nation (ie-Bama) are around 120 new members.

Alum here! As someone that was on the expansion committee I can tell you it’s not a simple process to bring a new sorority onto campus. I will say that Phi Mu was not my top pick between the final 2 sororities. I thought a different sorority would have had a much better fit here at CU! The committee had a very close vote.
One of the biggest aspects that needs to happen is all chapters need to meet (or be extremely close) to quota! It doesn’t make sense to bring a new chapter on of this isn’t the case. As far as I can tell, it does appear that this might be starting to happen - again that’s an outsider’s perspective!
CU should really consider going to variable quota to help all chapters reach quota and have more equatable chapter sizes. Most universities (especially those in this south) use variable quota!
