Sophmores rushing

I’ve heard rush can be harder abs a sophmore is this true? What sororities tend to avoid sophmores if this is the case

houses will always give pref to freshman over sophomores. your best chance would be to try to cob 2nd semester freshman year if any houses offer cob

Every year we tell girls to trust the process and see it thru to the end and every year we end up with a lot of sad girls on bid day who didn’t trust the process 😞

if a house dropped you this time, i'm sorry, but they will remember you and drop you again. On the other hand, if you dropped you might have a chance at cob

To some degree rushing as a sophomore makes more sense than rushing as a freshman. You know the houses better. You have had the opportunity to get to know individuals from the houses. When you go through rush - you may have friends in houses you’re most interested in. Seems like a no-brainer for a house to choose a sophomore they know well and could be a leader in the pc over unknown freshmen…

Totally agree that sophomores probably know what they want, the problem is that sophomores are usually a little more mature than their freshman sisters who will bond as a pc. Also most houses would rather have a due paying member for 4 years vs 3 years

i think that it might be easier rushing as a sophomore at other schools that have smaller pc’s?
