sorority rush as a sophomore (theta)

is there any point rushing as a sophomore this year, esp for theta?

You should definitely rush! Sophomores get bids too and you’ll never know if you don’t try.

all houses give pref to freshman over sophomores but your chances with theta are probably very good

All sororities prefer freshmen but your best chance as a sophomore for any sorority is having friends who are already in it. I personally rushed Theta as a sophomore and made some amazing friends who also all joined as Sophomores who I did not know prior. We all already knew a few girls in the house who joined freshman year.

Also keep in mind Theta has a higher GPA cutoff and does place a lot of emphasis on grades/academic rigor, commitment to service, and sisterhood.

it's so interesting how the houses that sophomores want are completely different than the houses that Freshman think they want.
