should i rush as a sophomore?
by: sophomoreI am a freshman this year, really wanted to join a sorority but my parents wouldn't let me. Now they've agreed to let me rush but ive seen sm saying a ton of girls didn't get bids this year and im wondering if it would be even harder as a sophomore. Is it even worth my time?

tbh I would do it but you need to manage your expectations. most houses will choose a freshman over a sophomore, BUT if you know girls in the house you want that can really help your chances. You might try to cob spring semester this year. enrollment keeps going up so it's going to harder to get a bid in the fall as sophomore vs. trying to get a bid this spring. most houses either do spring rush or will extend a few bids-not everyone will advertise it tho.

How do I find out if a house is doing cob or spring rush if they don’t advertise it?

ask friends in those houses if the will be doing spring rush or cob. some houses will probably only give out a couple bids since everyone is pretty much at quota.
