idk -I don’t think it’s that deep. They’ve gone by both names forever (just like Alpha Phi or A Phi) it usually just depends on what school your at.

My grandma is still friends with her alpha chi sisters. I’ve never heard them called axo’s until I came to Boulder. idk-might be a southern thing…

This happens in literally every house. I was on exec in a different house and ended up having to leave due to the responsibilities of my internship. Still love my sisters today tho ❤️

hi axo troll! former exec axo here - only a few members of exec dropped over the summer, and if you asked us we'd be happy to tell you that the majority of the reason for it was that we were overwhelmed with stress from school/work, dealing with personal/mental health issues, and felt like we were no longer the right person for the job. I personally, as well as the other girls, still have so much love for alpha chi and the friends i made there, I just didn't feel like greek life was for me anymore

wouldn't you also want to defend yourself if people were constantly trying to tear your chapter down? if you hate axo stop giving them attention and put your energy into something you actually care about

I have a friend in axo and apparently it was because their chapter’s values were changing due to their attempts to rebrand as “alpha chi” and no longer wanted to represent axo
