what's the sorority scene at boulder like

I'm committed to boulder for this fall and considering rushing and I want to know what the sorority scene is like.
Context: One of my older sisters is in a sorority at a big SEC school where sorority reputations are a HUGE deal- like dozens of girls every year will drop out of rush and transfer to a school with spring rush if they don't get their one or two top houses back. She says there's a huge difference between the houses- wealth, academic achievement, personalities, style, what frats they associate with, etc. and that EVERYONE on campus knows about the sorority rankings and stereotypes.
My other older sister is also in a sorority but at her school all of the sororities are pretty much the same. Greek life is big at her school but not big enough for sorority "ranks" to really matter after recruitment ends. There's no real stereotypes between houses or differences between the "top" and "bottom" houses.
What side of this spectrum does Boulder fall on?

Greek life is very laid back in Boulder. You can have a good experience in any chapter. I would definitely go through recruitment if you are interested. You will pick up the vibe of each chapter as you go through. My advice would be to not worry about tiers, but to look instead for at least some women that seem like they could potentially be your good friends. Go where you feel comfortable. As you get closer to the end, look at your fellow PNMs as well, because they might be in your new member class.

not these other people saying most of the mid houses are the same 💀 y'all really gonna argue that you can get the same experience in gphi as you would in kappa?? really???
i don't want to know WHAT poor soul has spent more than a semester on campus and doesn't already know about Greek reputations. are y'all saying that an average geed at boulder WON'T know the difference between aphi and tri delt? keep dreaming 💀
