rush as a sophomore

What do you consider a “good” sorority?

Good reputation sorority will be easy but a top house like aphi piphi dg don’t accept many sophomores/haven’t heard of any bc ik piphi has a no transfer rule (… i think) correct me if I’m wrong

It should be easy enough to get a bid from GPhi, Phi Mu or Tri Delt. Kappa, Theta and AXO will give some sophomores but not many. It’s pretty impossible to get one as a sophomore from the top 4 houses unless you are here studying abroad or already have a very close relationship with some of the sisters. You will have to be super on your A game during recruitment.

None of the houses here have really bad reputations, it'll probably be pretty hard to get into the top houses because they prefer freshman, but you'll absolutely get a bid as long as you're nice.

you will be fine- but please try to get to know some women in sororities you are interested in before rush!!!
knowing people can make or break you. there may be events going on in Boulder over the summer if you can get to them and you can meet people there.

- get letters of recommendation, at most schools they help get you to more advanced rounds of rush

- practice conversation and social skills!!! huge one. meet new people and put yourself in new situations frequently where you will be forced to interact with new people.

- dress well and try to look up outfit suggestions for Boulder rush.
