Why are people at CU so obsessed with strat tiers?
by: WonderingAt most other school I've noticed that people don't really care about sorority rankings/tiers. At Boulder though, everyone is OBSESSED with it. The level of self ranking an inaccuracy on this sight proves it. Why do the people here care so much (I'll admit, myself included)? It shouldn't matter that much as long as you like the sorority you're in, right?

the thing about tiers is that the only ones that care are freshman. houses care for a couple weeks- the week before and the week after rush. A lot of times members are happier in mid-tier vs. top-tier houses anyway- less hazing for guys, less pressure for girls. look at anyone's IG and you'll see that anyone who is greek has friends in a lot of different houses.
