Good and Bad Sororities
by: IFCSaw someone else say this and it’s pretty accurate- while there are tiers at CU, at the end of the day there are good and bad sororities. If you’re in A Phi, Chi O, DG, Kappa, Theta, or Pi Phi you are probably happy with the house you’re in and don’t really care about the tier system because you’re in a good enough house to not care. And guys don’t care either. No shade to the other houses but those are the relevant sororities at Boulder- there might be some movement within those six but the gap between “mid tier” and “bottom tier” is so big I don’t see much change happening in the next few recruitment cycles.

Here's the thing about guys commenting on srats- girls see exactly what you want them to see. What you don't see is the drama that goes on inside the 4 walls of a house. The house you end up in will not make or break you. I didn't know this as a pnm. The only one that cares about tiers are Freshman. There are so many different girls in every house. And yes, every house does have weird, awkward, unattractive girls. But you can find your people in any house at CU. Your college experience isn't about popularity. Grow up-this isn't high school anymore. I'm still friends with girls in my rush group. I see them in classes, parties, games, etc. Don't worry if you get cut by a house you wanted-it's their loss not yours! When you get your bid everyone in your house knows if you were first on their bid list or dead last. (you don't want to be dead last btw). Go with a house that really wants you for you!
