very few people are completely released from recruitment at boulder by all the houses, the number every year is probably fewer than 10. but reasons would be gpa, extreme reputation issues, being rude to houses, or skipping houses.

but also a lot of people drop the process themselves if they get dropped by their top houses or decide it’s not for them so that’s why more girls end up without bids

It's sad when a pretty, smart, popular girl comes to CU and expects a bid from a top house only to get dropped. Some girls miss out completely on greek life when they could have had a awesome experience in a Mid-Tier (or Lower).

Nationwide, the annual drop rate is 10-15%. This is mostly girls who don’t get their top choices so drop out. But also includes people who realize sororities are not for them, people who just decide it’s too stressful and people who get dropped from all houses (rare). We might be lower with this number- ask panhel where it stands.
