Boulder frats on a decline?

by:

This post is probably gonna trigger some of the snowflakes on this website but I'm gonna be honest. What has happened to Boulder frats and greek life here in general? like this schools party and darty vibe is just weird af. Im embarrassed to even say I attend this school. Like flipping a car and vandalizing peoples stuff is just uncalled for and its easy to do when mommy and daddy use half of their upper middle class new Money income to pay for your tuition. Honestly at this point we are worse than USC. At least USC kids are smart and its hard to get into. Boulder accepts anyone with a pulse. I get the pandemic has ruined a lot of stuff in the greek community but like its hanging by a thread and its just a joke at this point. Frats barely even throw parties anymore lmao.

Frats can lose their chapters if they throw big parties rn, you’re clearly a geed who doesn’t understand the situation. Blame the university and the town of boulder

One of the most challenging steps undergraduates face is holding their peers accountable for both their promises and their actions. SigEp's Balanced Man Program (BMP) is structured so that enabling leaders and members to hold other members accountable was strengthened. One of the outcomes of our chapter adopting the BMP is that members are more likely to not offer bids to prospective members who express highly social interactions that involved alcohol. As prospective members who want primarily social aspects of membership are less likely to return for follow-up events, the men who do return show greater interest in campus involvement and leadership through the Balanced Man Program. The recruitment process with the BMP is far more like a job interview where the members were encouraging prospective members to tell about their motivations for their undergraduate experience and reasons for personal involvement.
