so competitive?

Is it true that less than 50% of the women who go through recruitment get a bid? That seems crazy?!

It’s even worse for men, 1500 people sign up for rush and only 500ish get bids. So 50 percent for sorority isn’t out of the question

There were about 1700 that signed up for recruitment, and then around 1000 got bids. Most of the girls that didn't get bids either dropped out of recruitment or were released from the process, so it isn't as competitive as it sounds

Released from rush is same as being cut though.
I don’t understand why so many men and women get cut. Not enough houses?

A lot of the times when girls get released from the process it’s because they said something really bad during a party like talking bad about another house. As long as girls have some common sense on talking points they will get a bid because some houses can’t afford to drop girls just bc they don’t like them

58% received bid from some house. I don’t know if this includes snap bids
