phi mu

So I accepted a bid from Phi Mu but ended up dropping a couple weeks later. I was wondering if the rules still apply and I have to wait a year before joining another house. I was told that I did, but I know at least two girls who accepted bids from Phi Mu and are now in different chapters. Lmk
