phi mu reputation to be?

Tbh they probably won't be even middle tier until a couple years. That's just how it is usually for new chapters starting up. Unless they pull a Vegas Golden Knights and turn their first season into a good one.

It's impossible to say at this point since they don't have any members yet. They won't have the same rep as ole miss because every chapter on every campus is different. The truth is that the first year they generally take girls that were rejected by all the other sororitys. Typically this means they aren't very good at first and don't really leave bot tier for several years if at all. If the women who join are actually cool they would also need to work their asses off to be involved and make connections in the community, and start being picky with membership to move up. But again, that's something that takes time and years of dedication and the first PC would have to set that tone and might not even see the fruits of their labor.

Phi mu won’t have a reputation for a while except that or “the new chapter.” Their nationals will come in and select girls and while they will obviously be picking from girls who aren’t Greek they won’t all be “rejects.” Over 90% of the students aren’t Greek so they aren’t all rejects. They will interview girls and take a number of upperclassmen who never rushed and some freshmen who did and likely will COB for a few semesters. They’ll still cut girls while recruiting both the colony and in formal recruitment because they obviously have GPA requirements but since they don’t have return rates will likely invite back more PNMs during formal recruitment due to RFM.

All that being said, anyone who doesn’t support them and bashed them before they even start is clearly threatened that PNMs would rather have no reputation than a bottom tier reputation.

Any idea how many went through regular rush and quota per house?

A difinitive reputation probably won’t be set for at least a few years. They likely won’t be on an even plain with any of the others until they have a house, which probably won’t be for at least a couple years when they have enough girls to warrant investing in real estate. I wish them all the best since CU does truly need a new chapter, but I think it will be pretty hard for them for at least the next 5 years. Houses mean a lot for girls looking at going a traditional NPC sorority and with real estate being the way it is in boulder I think it is very unlikely that they will find a suitable space unless one of the larger frats loses their house to them. On top of that they won’t have the budget the other houses do to hold events like formal, socials, bid day and recruitment or get attractive shirts/merch.

I think Phi Mu will have a great reputation as do all the NPC sororities. I think they'll have legacies and alum support like every NPC sorority. They are a great addition to Greek life.
