can you go to any frat parties prior to rushing?

So I'm an incoming Frosh girl and I'm planning on rushing; I was just curious if the situation arises where there's some party or kick back at a frat house and other freshman in my hall go, can I go to it too? I know not to bring anything up during rush but if I go and don't drink there or whatever pre rush or talk to sorority girls about their sorority is that cool or nah

Yes you can, no one is going to notice if they see you at a party and then at Rush the next day.

Just don't put down your drink or accept a drink that you didn't get for yourself.

SigEp's substance-free facility is always cleaner and smells nicer than a facility regularly used for parties. A clean house is more desirable for hosting faculty, friends, and parents.

This weekend I saw girls who were sloppy drunk and almost passing out leaving houses. I also had a few girls talk about the houses on campus, both positively and negatively (I even had a girl tell me she has a pre bid at my house which is not at all true!!) PNMs, going into sylly week just be cautious about what you’re saying and how you’re acting because I remember these girls faces, and not to be rude or anything, but I don’t want them in my house. With that being said, I also met some super sweet pnms out this weekend. So if you go out, be classy and try not to talk about what houses you want/don’t want.

Don’t go out prior to rushing, current sorority members are watching you. There are plenty of parties, there’s no need to go out before rush. If that’s a priority of yours then don’t rush

No one is watching you unless you’re making a fool of yourself. Go out at night if you want just don’t be hungover the next day.
