minorities in sororities

I hate this question so much. People in sororities especially here in boulder would never not allow someone into a chapter because of the color of their skin. We actually have so many educational things we do and we want to be as culturally aware as possible. In fraternities there are actually a decent amount of minorities as well

Of course cause being happy, blissfully ignorant, and choosing to ignore a prevalent problem found all across the country where everyday a new video of someone of color surfaces revealing America’s darkest history of outright discrimination by our president, authorities, co workers, KKK members burning crosses in front yards in the literal year of 2018, and petty comments like your own is quite obviously a topic that we should ignore and turn our noses against it’s totally what I’m going to choose to do.

Yeah honestly you don’t know what it’s like for minority girls to rush, you don’t know what it’s like to wonder this question of “will they not accept me because I’m not white”

If you knew you what you were talking about you’d know that all the girls that made remarks like that were kicked out immediately and that majority of their exec board was removed as well because these things aren’t acceptable. It’s not like people say things like that and get no repercussions, there are strict rules in sororities.

obviously greek life at boulder is mostly white people, however there are plenty of girls in all of the sororitys that are minorities, honestly it may be a little harder as a minority but I am a minority and I am in a sorority and I have never felt left out or excluded at all
