They are both considered "top tier," or highly competitive houses. You need to bring a lot to the table in terms of (a mix of) appearance, personality, grades, and activities.

Back in my day, DG took many different kinds of girls, and Chi O had a definite "type." I have no idea if that's still the case. I would be interested to hear about that from current students.

You should keep an open mind during recruitment because you might find that you match better with a different chapter. You'll get a feel for that as the week progresses.

DG still takes lots of different girls and chi o still has a type. I would just be yourself and give all of the houses a chance. but yeah getting into DG and CHi O at CU is pretty competitive. Pi Phi is a good house and a bit easier to get into because they accept more girls, but they also have a cali gils type they're looking for
