why does everyone hate alpha phi?

They are not nice girls. Beautiful girls yes, but their sisterhood is non-existent, it rests on a power structure that is basically how instagram famous you are. The hierarchies within this sorority are cruel and to girls outside alpha phi they are even worse. Also their recruitment chair said they wouldnt recruit any black or latina girls cause they look like monkeys. I hope that helps

Ok I'm actually an Alpha Phi and there are seriously a lot of nice girls I become friends with. Sure there are cliques and some girls are catty but you get that with every sorority. PNM's should honestly pick the sorority that fits them best based on THEIR own opinions when they actually go through rush

Their prettiest, most well known, nicest girl (and most Instafamous) dropped last year. It was a coup a few years ago when she pledged APhi over Pi Phi, but she hated it and all her friends were pi phis or GDIs.

Pi Phi killed them in rush last year (so did DG) and they are seriously a house on the decline (considering rush returns were their strongest feature and once they lost that last year, they have very little else).

They are well below Pi Phi, DG and Chi O now.

^^^ this is true you are SO much better off going Pi Phi, DG, or Chi o. Those ones will forever be too. And in my opinion I think kappa is above A Phi too

they almost killed a girl who had a UTI by not letting her leave during rush to go to a doctor. they said they'd kick her out if she left, she wound up in the hospital with an IV and a serious infection
