After recruitment gphi becomes very cliquey. The house divides back into all of its group of friends that never actually talk to eachother. They also don't hold many events like date dashes and mixers. Basically during recruitment they promise a strong sisterhood and a strong social calendar but after recruitment all you really do is go to chapter with you're set group of friends. And you better hope you find you're friends fast cause if you don't you'll be stuck without a group forever

Hi, I went through recruitment my freshman year and got a bid from gphi. I was pretty excited because I loved them during recruitment(even ranked them above other "top" houses because they seemed so sweet and well balanced! I was also pretty excited because a few friends from my dorm also got gphi bids. Once recruitment week was over the older girls pretty much never talked to me again. My group of friends and I would go to chapter together and like the other person said it was very cliquey in the house. I stayed until the week of initiation and during that entire time i think we had one social event which was a date dash so you had to bring your own date. Like 3 days before initiation me and my whole group of friends decided we were going to drop cause there was no point in paying to be in gphi when we could all just hangout together in the dorm and have the experience. sophomore year I decided to join the "top" tier house I ranked gphi over my freshman year and I could not be happier now. A few of my other friends that dropped with me joined other sororities and a few of them remained independent. I wish I would have just put the house im in now first when I ranked my houses on pref night because I lost a whole year of a great sisterhood and attending events with girls who actually enjoy my presence.

Yep everything said is true. G phi is nothing but fake fake fake during recruitment
