realistically what are my chances
by: Transfer StudentI'm transferring to CU-Boulder this fall as a sophomore and have been looking into joining a sorority. I'm will have a 3.0 so I'm a little worried that is already a deal breaker for a sophomore trying to join. I'm 5'11'' blonde but athletic build(i played volleyball for 10 years) so not the super skinny model type (I know some will say looks don't matter but let's be honest here they usually do). I'm very confident when I'm comfortable and in my zone but around new people I'm pretty insecure but I can hide it pretty well but what I'm worried about is putting myself out there and getting shut down. So I just want someone's honest opinion, the best they can do which the little info I gave, about what they think my chances are of getting into a sorority. and if any which ones do you think? I know I'm asking a lot so thanks in advance!(:

There are always a few sophomores in every pledge class. It might be a little harder for you, but you are pretty capable of getting any bid you like. My friend rushed as a sophomore transfer and she's blonde and also a volleyball player with an athletic built and she got into a top sorority. Just put your best foot forward and be open to every sorority and find the one that you feel most comfortable with 🙃
