fraternity rankings for fall 2016

The Top 5
First: Pi Kapp. They stole the jungle away from ksig so expect some great tailgates here. Their new chapter house was also finished this year so they will be having a lot of parties there next year. However, they did lose the box office to sig ep.
Second: SAE. Honestly I don't know how they do it, but props to them. They don't have a chapter house and their annexes aren't even that great but girls love going to their parties.
Third: Kappa Sigma. Would definitely be ranked way lower on my list if it wasn't for recent events. They are officially off of probation and can have parties at their chapter house so expect them to throw down there next year. They did lose their best tailgate spot(the jungle), but they still have some decent annexes including some decent tailgate spots and the entire third floor of the d house.
Fourth: Phi Psi. Phi psi has came along way in the past few years. They have a decent chapter house and they throw down. They do need focus on getting rid of some creepers and getting better pledge classes. They have a great tailgate annex(the railyard). I think they still have this next year but please correct me if I am wrong.
Fifth: Sigma Pi. I think Sig Pi has also overcame alot of difficulties and is on the rise too. They have one of the best chapter houses and the largest area to party in by far. They don't have many parties here, but when they do they are bangers. They also have decent annexes.

To continue the rankings because I ran out of space
Sixth: Chi Psi. They have a gorgeous chapter house and parties here can be really fun. However, they just don't party that much. They also have some okay annexes.
7th: Sigma Nu. At the beginning of the semester I probably would have ranked these guys at 4th and maybe even 3rd. However they were recently put on probation(for maybe a year or more) and are in some deep trouble. Since all of their annexes are owned by their chapter they cannot have parties there. I don't know how they stay socially relevant and they definitely are going to suffer next year.
8th: Sig Ep. I really like these guys and I think they have ton of potential. They have some decent parties at their chapter house and now they have the box office too.
9th: Theta Xi. Honestly don't even really know what to say about these guys. They have an okay chapter house, one of the best annexes(the white house) and they literally have done nothing the entire year.

OP put too much value on standings in the past, I think there was a pretty decent shift this year.
I would say given annexes, recent parties, and potential in rush, here's generally where I think the houses will be mid-fall:
Pi Kapp/SAE/Theta Xi/Sig Pi/Phi Psi
-A lot of uncertainty, but all of these have potential. Interested to see tailgate season since Phi Psi has Railyard, Pi Kapp took Jungle, Sig Pi's mansion doesn't have rules, and Theta Xi took Candyshop. All of the houses have pretty distinct housing and party types so all 5 could probably be top instead of the usual 3.
Ksig: this year was rough post-Jungle, but they can bounce back
Chi Psi/Sigep: heard a lot of good things about both and I think the Box Office will help SigEp since their house isn't the most ideal
Sig Nu: can't party or do much so we'll see, but you can't count them out because of their complex
Phi tau will probably have a better rush because they've been in their house for a while now. Might pull a couple guys from whoever isn't doing well out of the list above.

I disagree a bit:
Kappa Sig isn't about to make a comeback anytime soon, same with sig pi. Being out of the IFC kills the quality they get in rush. I'd put Phi Psi above them. I'd say put Sig Nu up here too but they aren't going to be able to party or have a formal until next spring.
Anything below PiKapp and SAE kind of blurs for me in terms of how I would rank them. I'd say Phi Psi, Chi Psi, Theta Xi, Sigma Pi and Sig Ep are at least in good positions for the fall.
-Phi Psi has a massive chapter house, and the rail yard for parties.
-Chi Psi has by far the most gorgeous chapter house on the hill, and a few good annexes like the Roxbury.
-Theta Xi has an ok house with a great back yard, the white house, and the candy shop.
-Sigma Pi, I know I said they weren't about to make a comeback, but the house can keep them relevant as long as their nationals doesn't do away with them. Fun parties, kinda ratchet, but at least you feel like you're in a real frat mansion. They've also had more time to adjust to being out of the IFC.
-And Sig Ep, I haven't really spent much time there. But I hear good things, and I don't count them out though because I have a few friends in there. Their chapter house is nice, and they're getting the box office next year.
For these houses I feel like fall rush will make or break them. Right now it's too close to really say, even when considering the quality of guys in them.
