current gphi at another school but transferring

by: Gphi transfer

So I am currently a gphi at a school out east and I absolutely love it but will most likely be transferring back to Colorado next fall. How does it work when you are already apart of the sorority but would like to join a chapter at a school you are transferring to?

You could try to email the vp of recruitment and tell them what's up. They should let you transfer I know a lot of people who have and were able to participate in a different chapter.

Speaking in very general terms (not specific to CU or GPhi) when you transfer schools you contact the chapter and tell them that you are interested in affiliating. The chapter sisters will get to know you and make the call. If they don't accept you, you can go alum. The process also works the other way. You can choose to seek affiliation with your new chapter, or choose to go alum.

When you know that you've been accepted to CU, go ahead and contact the chapter. Good luck to you.
