I love the sisterhood and all the people in this chapter. Everyone in phi mu is genuine and so sweet! They are a brand new chapter with out a house but I think that their sisterhood is the best out of all the sororities! Everyone knows and cares about everyone! Such amazing people!

I’m going through rush now and even though phi mu doesn’t have a house they’re super sweet and it seems like a lot of girls are considering them. i’m excited to see how they do.

Just a bunch of trolls on here..... know a ton of girls from Phi Mu and they love their sisterhood and only rave about it. Go with your gut PNMS. Been told from my friends that they are only closer without a house and I believe this. Good luck with recruitment y’all

They have one of the worst sisterhood on campus, and there are multiple complaints against them from other Greek houses both fraternity and sorority

I think they have a lot of potential and I really admire these girls for starting something totally new at a school where the majority of chapters are over 100 years old! However, if I were rushing this year there is one reason why I would never consider them. They do not have a house. I’m starting my third year in my chapter and I can’t really describe how important the house is for us, even more then the letters I believe our house is what unites us. It is so much more than a history or a place to live/have meetings, it is really a symbol of our bond as sisters and I could not imagine my experience without it. Without a house I could never imagine joining and I couldn’t see myself recommending it as an experience.

Really don’t understand where all the hate is coming from.... two of my roommates are in Phi Mu and they are some of the sweetest girls and really love their sisterhood. Super awesome that they are in a founding chapter and I really see Phi Mu rising. Let’s bring this chapter up instead of tearing it down.... makes no sense to me..... they should feel accepted rather than fee like outsiders

damn if you want to be a part of the panhel community maybe learn to be more panhellenic. these girls spread rumors and don’t support sisterhood really.

Honestly ranking aside, every other sorority on campus wants phi mu to succeed. With a house they would be able to compete but that’s just not in the cards right now. Negative talk about them is just going to force larger pledge classes for other sororities. We should definitely encourage new houses on campus rather than tear them down. I was very seriously considering joining. I think it says a lot about the kind of girls that joined not knowing if they would be accepted and whatnot. They just all wanted a sister and to start something together. That’s definitely something to consider as a PNM

Upperclassmen here. What really happened was 700 girls dropped formal recruitment last year after the first day because the only thing you had to do for phi mu to join was .. sign a piece of paper. So they checked it out. THEN more girls dropped formal recruitment when the top houses dropped them and these girls decided they deemed themselves "above" AXO and DDD. So actually None of these girls were trying something new they were just being snobs or not trusting the process

Yeah we can lie and say Phi Mu is middle or top tier but we wouldn’t be doing anyone a favor. Very try hard just to have a group of friends to hangout with at the UMC instead of an actual house. I would bet the majority of Phi Mu didn’t get bids to the top/middle sororities they wanted so they joined together. Bad thing is you can be the new sorority on campus, post the same beat chicks on your insta, and still be lower tier.
