the truth ab cpc
by: hadtobesaidCincinnati panhellic council is a joke, not allowing certain chapters to do COB because of a misogynistic BS campus total rule (that frats don’t follow and seem to be fine with) is insane. The girls join different chapters for different reasons - for example a KD would not be a theta and vice versa. Just because certain chapters have image issues and are viewed as less desirable to join is not the fault of other chapter and it shouldn’t be burdened on us to suffer just because others are. You claim to care ab all sororities yet you want us all to suffer in the name of “equality” when it’s been know for a while that equality does not necessarily breed equity. BFFR

and it doesn’t even make girls join the chapters that need more members bc most just don’t cob if the chapter they want isn’t doing it- which makes the numbers look bad. if chi o, kappa, tri delt, and theta were able to recruit to full potential each chapter would have 150 members at least, they should not be held back bc KD, phi mu, and the engineering one can not recruit more girls- it’s just the truth i’m sorry. It hurts all of greek life to hold back potential of chapters for a few

the reason that panhellenic sororities are so small at uc is literally cpc’s own fault. there are so many girls interested in certain sorority experience that they wouldn’t get at smaller chapters and this isn’t just hurting them, but the community and the girls interested in joining. it’s a lose lose for everyone except cpc who wants to make everything pc and fair.

notice how all the chapters that have good retention and a better chance of staying on campus in the long run are the ones who suffer the most at the hands of cpc. it’s “fair” to the smaller chapters that have a harder time functioning, but not the ones that bring in the most members, raise the most money, and quite literally are the backbone of the panhel community at cincinnati, but I digress.
