I never considered sorority life, until some of my friends started to get involved. I went through recruitment totally blind, with no previous bias and found ZTA to be my perfect fit. The chapter allows me to stay academically focused while also providing me with opportunities for leadership and friendship. They believe in all their PNMs and a lot of leadership positions were held by new mems. These girls inspire me so much, they are all so smart and well spoken. The professional and personal advice I have received has been critical to my growth at UC. I will say that it is pretty relaxed and there are minimal rules/expectations. This can have its pros and cons; however, I do believe it is what you make of it. You have to be willing to put in the work if you want to grow in ZTA. I also think a lot of the older reviews do not reflect where the chapter is now. After joining, I can tell how much effort the older girls and the advisors have put in to strengthen the chapter. Overall, my experience has been positive, and I can't wait for recruitment!

these zistas seem notorious for self ranking as seen below. truth is they’re a below average bottom tier sorority and that’s a fact they resent. unfortunately these girls don’t realize you can’t sleep your way into popularity… it’s something that happens over time through years and history on campus. i hate to be so brutal about this but i hate fake ass liars more.

As someone in another chapter, these are some really dope dudes. They're obviously small and struggle in recruitment, but they don't come off as desperate. Nice group of guys that don't fit the typical frat mold but are also social and like to have fun. I hope they do well.

phi mu has been such an amazing experience!! i truly believe i have met my forever friends. i can see where all of these bad comments happen about this sorority being cliquey but those are the same people who do not participate in events or try to connect with people. you will also find that in any type of social situations. phi mu has been so much fun and i can’t wait for this coming year!!
