panhell wants to add other sororities, u of c just makes it hard for others to join/stay on campus so no other orgs want to come in and start a chapter here

We are working just fine with the way things are, no change needed.

because uchi doesn't support greek life, sororities don't want to expand here for lack of being unsupported.

The mismatch between the number of sorority chapters, in relation to number of fraternity chapters, on any given campus occurs coast to coast. The simple reason is fraternities often have smaller membership numbers by both design and by choice. Sororities by mandate of their nationals recruit new members on any given campus in relatively equal large numbers, and tend to all want to be at the exact same CHAPTER TOTAL number. Fraternities on the same campus can have very unequal membership numbers due to different traditions and expectations between their national groups and even housing/non-housing issues. Thus there will likely never be an even number of fraternities and sororities on campus.
