rushing as a second-year with few greek connection
by: 2019So last year I thought about rushing but the group of greeks I knew was mostly focused in one house whose vibe I didn't entirely get along with. I know a couple people in the fraternities I think I'd like the most (Sigma Chi/DU), but I'm not particularly close with any of them. Any advice, since I'm kinda clueless about how this process works?

Hey,
Happy to hear you're considering rushing! I'd advise getting added to the 2020 group and waiting for the recruitment posts to come out. Add Recruitment Chairs on FB and get as much face time as possible. Find brothers through class or RSOs who invite you over to the house to hang out. It will be slightly harder as a second year. Make sure you have the charisma, grades, and extracurriculars that make them want to give you a bid.
