Probably best sorority at UChi. My interactions with them have been pleasant and fun. Things the sorority does right: a) recruit good well-rounded girls who end up being very involved on campus b) apparently they have a strict and enforced "no judging women based on looks" criteria for recruitment (frankly pathetic that other sororities don't have this) and still end up with beautiful, smart, and confident girls. Mild/moderate drama, nothing crazy. I generally like them as a group.

DU doesn't host the most open parties or have the biggest house, but they are still probably the top house at Uchicago. The guys I know are chill, ambitious, and powerful around the college. I rushed but didn't get a bid, and I feel that a lot .. probably the majority .. of rushes consider DU as their top choice fraternity. It's true that their mixers with the sororities are the most popular .. having spoken to some girls in Theta and AOII they always look forward to mixing with DU.

Nothing wrong with being in DU, but no one's confusing them with a top house. Some bros pull but most don't or have girlfriends. House is tiny. Many bros really can't stand each other, and some guys are trying to force others out of the fraternity

Speaking as a sorority sister at UChicago, Delta Upsilon is probably the most prestigious fraternity and my favorite. Their rush process is taken seriously and the guys are really good looking, confident, and funny. Their mixers are the best and their parties are always the most well attended.
