First of all, there are no tiers at uchicago. We have four sororities. Get this through your heads. Secondly, stop with the hate. The holy land for prep school kids (think Exeter, Andover, HM, etc). Particularly great if you're worth 7+ figures. Good frat overall but too exclusive.

Oh please please please girls who are considering rushing... do NOT let the pettiness on this site deter you. I think there is a very small portion of girls in every sorority that talks so negatively of the others due to insecurity, misinformation, boredom? I don't really know but it makes me cringe and be ashamed to be a part of greek life when I see it. Know that being in a sorority in my experience has been so positive, where woman build eachother up rather than break eachother down!!
